1. Moroccan Lamb Chops

Highly recommended! Lamb chops when grilled are so delicious. They have a unique flavor that gets enhanced when cooked on a charcoal grill. It is easy to cook and contains high protein with moderate fat content.

Marinade the lamb chops by adding all the ingredients and spices into a bowl with the lamb chops. Add avocado oil and let it sit for couple of hours. Whenever the grill is ready add it on side with high heat for 2-3 mins each side. Next cook it on low heat covered for another 20 mins and the chops are ready.

2. Grilled Vegan Kebab Skewers

  • Just a hint of salt and pepper
  • Lemon juice
  • Chili flakes

Recipe:

Add cut vegetables into a bowl and season it with your favorite spices. I seasoned it with some salt, pepper, and a hint of chili flakes for some spice. Make sure to spray some avocado oil spray onto the veggie skewers before placing them on the grill. A good practice is to always spray it with oil so as to make it moist and crunchy since grilling can make the food dry.

Recipe:

Put chicken thighs (cut into big pieces) into a bowl to start marinating. Add 2-3 spoons of creamcheese of choice (regular or low fat) with about a spoon of ginger garlic paste (for 1lb of chicken), chooped cilantro, salt, pepper, cardamom powder and a dash of nutmeg spice. Mix all together and let it marinade for about a couple of hours. Leaving it overnight will provide the best results though (since chicken gets time to absorb all the spices). Whenever you are ready to cook, put the pieces onto skewers and add it to a hot charcoal grill. Cook until it is charred on the outside and soft on the inside. Keep basting while it gets cooked.

4. Indian Chicken Tikka Skewers

This is a traditional Indian bbq dish made on a charcoal grill. Here’s a simple recipe for chicken tikka which you can make on a grill.

What You Need:

  • Chicken thighs boneless skinless
  • Greek yogurt
  • Lemon juice
  • Avocado oil
  • Spices: salt, pepper, cumin powder, corriander powder, dried fenugreek leaves, turmeric powder, red chilli powder (optional)

Recipe:

Marinade the chicken, which is cut in medium size pieces. Add lemon juice, 1 spoon of ginger garlic paste, 2-3 spoons of greek yogurt, add all the spices and finally add some avocado oil, I added 1.5 spoons of avocado oil for 1lb of chicken. Let it sit for a couple of hours (again overnight would be great for best results). Once ready to cook, carefully add chicken pieces to the skewers and put it on the grill to cook. Keep basting it in oil so as to not make it dry. This version is simple, provided you have all the spices, and is very healthy as well. You can also use the tikka mix from the supermarket but I personally tend to avoid it since it may contain presertives. The spices used in this recipe have antioxidant properties and are good for health.

5. Vegan Beet And Quinoa Burger from TheOnelineGrill

All the vegans in the house, this one is for you. I have personally tried this recipe and it is so easy to cook and yummy to say the least.

What You Need:

  • 2 beetroots
  • 1 cup quinoa
  • Diced onion
  • Garlic (2-3 cloves)
  • Bread crumbs
  • Olive oil
  • Lemon juice
  • Kosher salt

As the name suggests, it has a beet and quinoa patty, which is extremely healthy. It take about 10 mins to prepare and about an hour to cook (but most of the time is only cooking in the oven so basically you’re not putting in a lot of time to cook this). Do try it out.
